Morning all;
I've been trying to get some (I thought) basic information into a Raspberry Pi using a modified Python script and a USB connected ELM327 adapter - but having no luck.
I modified the "obd_recorder.py" (from https://github.com/Pbartek/pyobd-pi) and got it showing MPH only in my Subaru (developed there as the stereo has an HDMI input) and hoped that I'd be able to simply "plug and play" the Pi in a headless configuration, and that it would work. Nope.
I'm not super familiar with Python or OBD/CAN signaling (still learning); but if anyone here knows of a simple way to pull MPH I'd love to hear it. Otherwise, I'll just keep monkeying until I get something.
