If the Recipe file is missing, on Vista, the VB program
handles the error condition by showing you a message
explaining what file is missing (VarParmList.csv).

Apparently on Win7, the error is handled by the system
and tells you "runtime error 53", and does not let the
VB program handle the error. Thanks Bill.

In ver211 I will try to handle the missing file situation
differently, if possible.

The newer versions of CAN-Do seem to handle the missing Recipe file with
informative messages, even on Win7, and also on the Win8.1 OS.

I have yet to try actually doing logging via the virtual Comm port(s)
on Win 7, but ... both the FTDI Rs232 to USB adapter cable and the
4-port EasySync adapter device do not install with Win7 or Win8.1 drivers.

I will report again when I find drivers, if any, and have tried actual logging.
If you know the answers, please post here.

The 4-port device from EasySync is
http://www.easysync-ltd.com/product/534/usb2-h-1004.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and the drivers are at
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I downloaded the 64-bit Windows driver package, and pointed the
installer to it after it had failed to find a suitable driver for the 4-port adapter.
After recognizing and installind the driver for one port, I unplugged the
4-port device and plugged it in again, and all 4 ports got properly installed,
creating 4 virtual Comm ports, on both Win7 and Win8.1 systems.
