Carcharging and Blinks at Work - still free?

We had a change from free to $1 per hour standard Blink charge starting June 1st which makes using it at work very inconvenient and expensive. Does anyone out there has been able to have the company pay for charging for employees only with their Blink units? How is that done? Do we need to replace the Blink units? Do we have to have CarCharging give us ownership? Or just lobotomize the units.

What was the agreement your company signed with Blink? Who owns and maintains the stations?

Answering those two questions should give you your answer.

Ideally you would be able to charge different rates depending on the card used, so employees can continue to get free charging, while everyone else pays. Or if your office is out of the way, keeping it free for all and just being able to plug-in and charge may be easier.
