Just a FYI for everyone.. That almost matches EXACTLY what my car was when I purchased it just a few months ago. Mine was a 2012 with 4900 miles on it.

$17,500 is what I paid... Just a FYI

Also watch this about certified pre owned. Second half of the video is about certified pre owned cars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=towwx7KOWDE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; <Warning NSFW Strong Language>

Research Owner advantages for a CPO through Nissan not Youtube cartoons.

CPO Includes:
Free 24hr roadside assitance
Aggressivley discounted APR rates
Aggressive extended warranties
360 degree point inspection and replacement of any part that does not meet Nissan CPO standards.

Oh and by the way! Congrats on your Nissan Leaf :D ! Is it certified??.

Kind regards,

Unless the current capacity of the battery is also certified and documented, I don't see much advantage to CPO on a Leaf...

I don't understand why Leaf owners go out of their way to bad mouth this vehicle, Nissan USA, and The few dealerships that try to make a difference. Do you not encourage others to drive EV?

"As more Nissan LEAF vehicles enter the used car market, we know it's important for Nissan to provide the second owners the same confidence in the car that the original owner enjoyed," explained Erik Gottfried, director of Electric Vehicle Sales and Marketing for Nissan.

Nissan Leaf's certified pre-owned limited warranty will extend coverage of the EV system and powertrain to 7 years or 100,000 miles. That's in addition to the Leaf's new car warranty coverage of 8 years/100,000 miles against battery defects and 5 years/60,000 miles for battery capacity.

useful or not the cartoon was hilarious.

as for promoting ev and promoting others to drive ev. yes and no.

I promote ev. I DO NOT promote others drive ev.

for MOST people's "expectations" an EV would be a huge let down and would do more HARM to the EV movement than good.

the range is too low the lifespan is too short.

SO I always profess how good they are but I am also VERY clear upfront and first they are highly limited. BUT if you can LIVE within those limitations the experience is bliss :)

you can not afterall pull into a gas station and simply pour some electrons into the battery so to speak. if you run out you ARE calling a town truck in most cases :) (at least on the east coast where I live)

I also question the usefullness of the useless "Free 24hr roadside assitance"

since its not there to assist you but to assist NISSAN. now if you always goto the deal to do anything to the car its great. but I fix my own cars (at least for any reason I would likely be towed for ie flat or discharged battery) I don't need a tow to nissan I need a tow to my house so I can pug in or go get a cheap tire.

Is there a way to upgrade the roadside to let it tow me to my home instead? I would not mind paying $50 or $100 a year for that especially if there is no tow limit.
