I am selling a new 16amp portable EVSE with a 22.5 foot J1772 cable (25.5 ft. length end to end). This unit operates on Level 1 120VAC or Level 240VAC and switches automatically. Using optional adapters you can plug this into a standard house outlet, for 120v use, a 240v dryer outlet ect. This is a 16A continuous EVSE. This is intended to be used with a 20A breaker or larger. It is build to plug into a NEMA 6-20 (240v 20amp) outlet.

This EVSE is fixed at 16amps and has 4 status lights; Power, Connected, Charging, Fault. It is slim and smaller than my stock Nissan LEAF EVSE.
12 month warranty from manufacture

The price is $299.00 plus $18 for shipping in the continental USA.

It will charge any J1772 compliant car at up to 16A from 120v or 240v providing
1.92kW at 120v
3.84kW at 240v

If you would like the plug changed I have several on hand. In the case of a 10-30 or 14-30 plug it would allow you to plug into a common 30A Dryer outlet. I also build custom adapters so you may keep the 6-20 plug and adapter to other outlets.
Plug options:
6-20 (240v 20amp) – included as default
10-30 (240v 30amp) 3-prong Dryer plug used before 1996 – $17.00
14-30 (240v 30amp) 4-prong Dryer plug used in 1996+ – $17.00
14-50 (240v 50amp) 4-prong Range and RV plug – $17.00
6-30 (240v 30amp) 3-prong plug – $17.00
6-50 (240v 50amp) 3-prong welder plug – $17.00
5-20 (120v 20amp) – $10.00

If you would like to see it in action on your EV we can arrange that thru private message at my home, Local pickup in Las Vegas near Smith's grocery on East Flamingo. Payment is by PayPal if shipped or cash for local pickup.

Here is a link to me giving a demo of the EVSE:

I get a lot of inquires about custom builds. YES I definitely take orders for anything you would like to see in your custom built EVSE. I worked hard on a nice PDF featuring some of the custom EVSE's I build and accessories. Check it out here for current pricing:

Looks like a nice inexpensive EVSE, perfect for a '11/'12 or post '12 S model Leaf without the upgraded charger or anyone OK with the 16a max charging. I'm perfectly fine with it but I'm going to guess it's not UL listed, for those who care or need that blessing.
To me the ability to charge at 120v as well as 240v is a must for such a portable EVSE that may be carried in the vehicle, most commercial L2 EVSE's lack this option which kind of put them outside of my interest. As noted with the 16a charging and inability to limit it, a 20a breaker with 12 gauge wiring would be a must, preferably a dedicated circuit(or for sure a circuit with no other real current draws).
I like the slightly longer cord than many EVSEs have, could come in handy in a pinch. Also I like the J1772 end and cap, looks quite similar to the OEM Leaf EVSE.

Thanks jjeff, I appreciate your positive input, the longer cord cost me a little more but I thought it was worth it. :D

For the Optional Adapter #56 30A 14-xx Universal plug (fits 14-30, 50 & 60 outlets) to 6-20 outlet (240v 20amp) 6inch stubby $56.40

Does this mean one side can fit a 6-20 connector and the other side can go into a regular outlet ?

thanks

Yes but note for that adapter to work your EVSE needs to be capable of working on 120v, something that many(but not the ones that Brad sells) don't. If using that adapter with other L2 EVSE's make sure they are capable of working on 120v.

I see the confusion, I just added a picture for that adapter: https://bsa-electronics.myshopify.com/collections/adapters/products/adapter-18-30amp-14-50-plug-to-6-20r-socket-adapter I also noticed #56 was a duplicate of #18 so I deleted #56.

What your asking for "Does this mean one side can fit a 6-20 connector and the other side can go into a regular outlet ?" describes
Adapter #57 20amp 5-15 Plug to 6-20R socket adapter: https://bsa-electronics.myshopify.com/collections/adapters/products/adapter-57-20amp-5-15-plug-to-6-20r-socket-adapter This lets you plug a 6-20 plug equipped EVSE into a common 5-15 (120v 15amp) or 5-20 outlet (with "T" slot) Note that the EVSE MUST be 120v compatible as the one listed here is.

Thanks for helping out with this techie question. Took me a min to figure out, ucsmfu referenced adapter #56 (now adapter #18) but asked about adapter #57, I was confused at first :D
