I have three of them, so keeping one.

I kept three to develop JdeMO (CHAdeMO charging for RAV4 EV).

Tony,

Was that your RAV4 at Flying J in Lebec that pulled up to the pedestal. It was about the time you were passing north to south.

If so, where did you mount the curb at?

Yes, Tesla simplifies a lot of things with those supercharger stations already in existence.

I only did CHAdeMO charging, San Diego to Santa Rosa, April 30, 2015 northbound, and May2-3, 2015 southbound.

Tony,

Impressive chart. Was Buellton CHAdeMO? I haven't been there but I thought it was an L2, and a supercharger station. Again, it shows what you can do when you have the system--and a big enough traction battery to get there. It also shows how much you have to know to use the system effectively. What with the glitches in Visalia and possibly elsehwere.

I noted you'd stopped at the Santa Ynez (Solvang) CHAdeMO. You were probably one of the first to use it.

Paso Robles, Atascadero and Buelton are J1772 / "L2". There's a large gap in the CHAdeMO highway between Monterey and Solvang.

Yes, I believe I was first to use that, and first to drive from SoCal to San Francisco using only CHAdeMO.

I was also the first across Oregon and Washington using only CHAdeMO (June 19-20, 2012).

They started construction on the Madonna Inn's CHAdeMO a few weeks ago according to the local newspaper. We haven't been over to see what kind of progress they've made. We'll give a report the next time we get over there.

I have a call in to Lloyd Tran about the stations at the Grapevine. He hasn't called back.

Sunspeed Enterprises [www.SunspeedEnterprises.com] is installing the charger at Madonna Inn. They are looking for investors to help support the installation of more L2/QC chargers along Highway 1.
