Returning your leased LEAF and have an EVSEUpgrade? Let's trade a non upgraded one for an upgraded one. I'll offer $100 and will pay for shipping both ways.

I returned my leased LEAF without returning any EVSE and did not get charged for it.

Also what year Leaf are we talking here? the 11/12's have a slightly different EVSE than the 13/14's and on. I have an upgraded 11/12 version, but I need it till I turn the car back in which is February 2015.

I've heard of others doing this but I haven't taken the time to read the lease to determine if the EVSE is supposed to be returned. Remember that getting away with stealing and it not being stealing are two different questions.

I currently have one of each but probably will not by this coming Feb. I got a good deal from someone that exports the cars to a country where they are not compatible so he removes them. Been offering them to local LEAF owners and figure they'll be more beneficial if they were upgraded.

PSA: the Guy at EVSEupgrade says the 2011 is the best EVSE out there bar none.

So, I'd hold on to it. I plan to since I bought and not leased. I had mine maxed out with L6-30, 20Amp upgrade, and 16Amp on 110 adapter.

If you don't want to do the math, 16A on 110 is 43% faster if you consider the 300W overhead. Reason being, it's a smaller % of 16x110 vs 12x110. (1760-300)/(1320-300)=143.1%

I plan to have a second electric/partial electric and have a 20A 110V and a 30A 220 in my garage. So, total delivery of something like 6.xKwhr to two cars. Best part: paid maybe $200 for the extension to the 240 and the 20A 110 was already there for a fridge. :)

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying in the first line of your post or it's a typo, I think you have your units mixed up. It's the '13-'14 and '15 units that are "high power" 240V 20A/120V 16A. The '11-'12 unit has always been 240V 16A/120V 12A. Well, actually that's not true - the first go round it only did 240V @ 12A.
