Not sure what I think of it but it is interesting!

Now if you took this concept and stretched the wheelbase about 12 inches it would give you room to add a bigger battery. I would bet with an extra 12 inches of space you could fit a 36kwh battery in there very easily.

That would also give you a range of about 125 miles instead of 84 miles. That right there would be enough to sell some vehicles.
 
I like the idea but: I don't think vehicle size is what is limiting battery capacity. It is the additional cost which would price it out of the market.
