I browsed through the led drl thread and saw many drl led installs. However, I wanted dot shaped leds that stand out. I came across the Piaa DR305 and I was pretty impressed the way it's designed and how versatile it is. Here's a link to the product http://www.piaa.com/store/p/479-DR305-LED-Daytime-Running-Lights.aspx (you can find them for a lot less, about $100-$120 on ebay)
Installation was pretty straightforward, I used the same wiring method as another member from this forum http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=21529. It comes with a control module, red wire to power, black to ground and a yellow wire to headlight positive I think. I haven't wired the yellow wire yet but once wired up it should reduces the led by 50% when the headlights go on.
