There used to be sightings of a Leaf around Palo Alto (I never saw it since I hardly ventureup there) w/o doors: https://www.quora.com/Is-it-legal-to-drive-a-Nissan-leaf-without-doors. It came up a bunch at https://www.facebook.com/groups/BayLeafs/ a bunch o ftimes.
