I realize our LEAF has a TPMS and will send a warning if its not seen by the system.

If i get a new set of wheels with no TPMS what are my options
- Can i disable the TPMS system ? or trick it so there is no warning without TPMS on the new wheels
 
My winter wheels don't have TPMS. A warning light stays on all winter. I would put black electrical tape over it, if it bothered me. My tire store no longer will mount tires unless you have TPMS saying the government now requires it.
 
Id like to know if the TPMS warning light can be turned off

And as far as tire shops not servicing wheels with no TPS i think thats BOGUS because not all cars have TPMS. and in fact 2 of my 3 cars dont and i hope its not a law in the future.
