This has been briefly touched upon in the past, but not much... rather than revive a post from 2012 I thought I'd put up a new one.

Why aren't there any wind deflectors for sale aftermarket for the Leaf? If ever there were a car for it this is it. Would much rather have the windows down than run the AC. Perhaps the effect on the aerodynamics is too great? Anyone have any insight? Or aware of actual options avail for purchase? Haven't been able to find any.

Just in case anyone is interested the Nissan part number to order these is KE-800-3N010

I fitted these yesterday and they are good quality, they stick on to the outer frame of the door and have a LEAF logo on them, they are lightly smoked and look very nice on my black car I will try and get a photo up later for you

But the one I received is H0800-3ND00. And seems like yours stick out more than the one I have.

Agreed, yours look more aerodynamic and the fit between the front and back doors look neater having said that I am quite happy with mine and they do look nice on, I'm not a big fan of aircon and living in England at this time of the year you don't really need it on so it is nice to just crack the window open a little without getting the usual buffeting noise.

So you got these? http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Nissan-Accessories-H0800-3BA00-Deflector/dp/B0083WD54A" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And they fit on your Leaf no problem? I'm looking for a set for my 2012 SL. I can't stand not having rain guards on my windows.

That is not for LEAF. It's not the same part number.
