Is this the norm with 46k on the Odo ? only estimate 70miles.

I just bought this car a week ago, did some real world driving on flat roads, most conservative driving in eco modes with some hard acceleration and got about 50 miles out of it when it reach the 5miles estimated range. It still has the 12 capacity bars

It's a nearly worthless GOM (guess-o-meter): http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=271853#p271853" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=389312#p389312" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Your recent driving history may not have ANY connection w/your future driving (e.g. up or down a hill, fast or slow, etc.)

You should consult the range chart at http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=101293" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but keep in mind your battery has degraded somewhat (or possibly a lot).

Since you have an '11, I strongly recommend you get something to read battery gids (e.g. LeafSpy) since you have no % state of charge indicator. Going by the 12 not-granular enough fuel bars and the GOM will only cause you unnecessary range anxiety.

I use a LeafDD to read GiDs, I never use the GOM, The LeafDD is a simple device that connects to the OBDII and I leave it over the steering wheel. 2011 with 34400 miles and 2 Capacity Bars gone getting now 60 miles @ 55 - 60 MPH in ECO mode. Arrive back home with 90 GiDs (+/- 5). While in drive mode I arrive with 50 GIDS.

My commute to work & back is 40 Miles and has hills or long stretches of road with a slight incline where I would need 3 to 4 power bars to keep it at the 55 - 57 MPH speeds. On down hills I sometimes shift into N to gain speeds.
