So I just thought I'd share this little bit of fun:

My LEAF has 58,676 miles on it. (Well more now, because my wife will have driven it to work ) Yesterday, I completed a 552 mile round trip from Bristol to Norwich and back (UK). While my journey to Norfolk involves a stop mid-way between Bristol and Birmingham because there's a new service station just opened up on the northbound M5, the southbound doesn't have a DCQC between Birmingham and home that is in working order.

I just drove from Hopwood Park M42 (Birmingham) to Bristol, UK, a total of 74.2 miles for me, on a single charge. I had 7 miles estimated remaining when I got home. I left the services in Birmingham with a 98% DCQC, although I seem to remember LEAF SPY said it was nearer 90%...

Why's that a big deal, I hear you ask? Well, my LEAF now apparently only has 82% Capacity according to LEAF Spy. I've lost one capacity bar, and generally, we now only plan for about 50 miles per charge.

Just shows what a little careful driving (Cruise stuck at 50) will do for that range

Some more data. Just grabbed LEAF Spy data from last night:

Bat Sts: AHr=54.01 SOC=82% HX=66.42%. 437 recorded QC, 4825 L1/L2. (Note, the LEAF records each time you plug-in, and each time you charge, so I think the L1/L2 count is about half of that figure...)

I also apparently got home with 3.1 kWh remaining in the pack, 40 GIDs, and 22.3 % SOC.
I've also included the Google Earth elevation profile. You can see there's a slight net downhill (136meters, 446 feet) over the course of the trip, which helps, but I'm still pretty happy with it.

And here's the log files. Sadly, I was logging with an Amazon Kindle, so no GPS data...
