My white Leaf has a multiplying number of small brown spots on the paint. They don't come off in a normal car wash, though they usually come off with vigorous rubbing with a finger (though not a sponge). Any thoughts on what they are from or how to remove them? I've thought about car wax, but the reports on the thin paint have scared me off.
The car is usually parked under a power line, so it does get pooped on, but the coverage of the spots seems too broad to be only from bird poop.
