Passenger Seat Heater Switch Illumination / Backlight

I'm a happy owner of a 2016 LEAF SV (love it!). I noticed last night that the passenger seat heater switch does illuminate with the parking lights, but the left driver side switch does. To be clear, I'm talking about the backlight of the switch itself that helps you find it in the dark. The embedded LEDs to indicate HIGH / LO work as expected.

I figured this is Nissan saving a few cents, but maybe not, as I can't find anything on MNL.

Anyone confirm?

It lights up in my 2015 SV. You may have a loose wire or bad switch.

The LED for high on my drivers side switch goes out intermittently, so maybe they buy cheap switches.
