Charge port lid

I have had my Leaf for almost a month now, and since I bought it, I have always wondered, how much does the lid for the charge port pop open. I need to wedge my fingers in to get the leverage to pull it up. Seems as though it should open more.
Can cold weather have anything to do with it? There is no ice or anything built up around it.
How far are they supposed to open?
I have to go to the dealer in order to see another Leaf.
Maybe it needs to be fixed or adjusted.

I've never had to pry it up, although it doesn't spring open very far. Yours needs adjustment.

Mine at about 9 months of age has started sagging down onto the charge connector when charging overnight (or similar periods). It used to stay up where I put it when I plugged in the connector, but now I find it down against the connector.
