I took our Leaf to the dealer today to get the airbag recall done and also have them look at the grabby brakes issue. Interestingly enough, when i got my car back, I noticed 3 updates had been done:
  • R14050 - REPROGRAM OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
  • PX54AA - REPROGRAM E-ACT PER NTB12-086A
  • P32590 - REPROGRAM PDM CHARGER/PD MODULE PER NTB13-098

So it appears there was also some sort of recall on the charger module? Anyone know anything about that?

The recall notice should have explained it. In hot weather the PDM can, IIRC, shut down because it 'thinks' it has overheated. The OCS recall is for a seat sensor that doesn't always recognize that the seat is occupied, and so leaves the passenger airbag off. The other one someone else will have to explain. It may be the brake Technical Service Bulletin.

I don't know off the top of my head, but you can look up recalls at http://www.safercar.gov/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and then click on Associated Documents for more details.

For the NTB TSBs, you can download the PDFs at
