It looks like the coast to coast network is moving along. Can someone in Canada confirm if the Chademo's are 2.0 (at 200KW) like this article suggests, or the gen 1 50KW or 100KW standard.

You may want to post that to the various Bolt forums as there are several Canadians on those lists.

Only one of those Petro-Canada chargers is actually open, the rest are still under construction or in planning stages, so you aren't going to get any verification on most of them just yet.

The OP linked article says that the chargers are able to output 200 kW but you need to know about the protocol and most importantly the cable.

At 360 volts nominal 100 kW requires about 277 Amps. For CHAdeMo that implies a liquid cooled or really thick, short cable.
This report
https://electricrevs.com/2019/01/14/nissan-leaf-plus-can-charge-at-near-100-kw-but-where/
says that EA locations have installed 100 kW CHAdeMO cables but that charging is throttled to 50 kW pending further testing. Of course 100 kW is no more 100 kW than 50 kW is 50 kW. The spec is based on 500 volts but peak power in a car battery is at ~ 360 volts as I mentioned earlier so you may yet live to see 360*200 = 72 kW peak charging in your LEAF.

Of course without battery thermal control I'm not sure what the point is but whatever.

As an American, whenever I think of Petro Canada, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-JHw4YyLIM comes to mind. A Canadian roommate was the one who told me about it. Letterman was still on TV at the time and this man was being actively referenced by Letterman.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0ATPKgadF4 is a longer video.

He worked at a Petro Canada station in Regina.

When he died, he was mentioned in https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/20/arts/television/dick-assman-briefly-a-late-show-celebrity-dies-at-82.html.
