8-inch screen in Leaf ePlus --> Non e-Plus 2019 Leaf

Does anyone by chance know if the 8-inch screen can be retrofitted into the non e-Plus cars with the 7 inch screen? Seems like it wouldn't be worth it until you also see that the screen resolution and aspect ratio has changed. Another new feature is wifi capability when at home.

Can I just take a minute to say how ridiculous this is that the new Sentra and Altima being offered come with this larger screen and the new UI out of the box and Nissan chose to bifurcate the Leaf where only certain models and trims get a certain interface and UI. UGH... can't escape this nonsense with car manufacturers. Toyota was the same way.

Its a way to entice you up to the higher level car. Kind of like the Standard range Tesla 3. Yeah you can get it...but for a little more wouldn't you get the car you want instead?

Yeah, not worth it. If you really think "size matters" that much, get the Model 3.

It's turning into a major undertaking just to get rid of the gull-wing center console.*



*Yeah, I know that the center console isn't really a gull-wing design, but it sounded cooler when I wrote it that way. So just untwist your panties for a moment.
