Over the air updates for Nissan Leaf E-plus

Hi Folks. I posted this before but can’t find it now so thinking it may have got lost in never land.

I have read a few times that the Eplus will be able to receive over the air updates. Can anyone expand on this.

Will do. I’m getting the impression from some internet gibberish that it may be just map data.

I have a Leaf Plus, and it does download both map and software updates. It will only do so if it's connected to wi-fi, and then it will automatically check every few days, or when you click a button to "check for updates". It tells you the software version number, so you can see if it actually updates anything. It doesn't tell you what changed, though, and I haven't been able to find any changelog anywhere from Nissan.

The updates are done through the infotainment system, so my guess is that they are only for that system and not for anything else in the car. But, that is only my guess.
