2018 Leaf S Rim Size Options

Hello,

I'm looking to buy some used Nissan alloy's for my 2018 Leaf S. The specs on these rims are:

6.5JJx16 ET45 5x114.3

I looked up the factory specs on the 16" wheels:

6.5JJx16 ET40 5x114.3

Only difference is the offset (45 vs 40). Has anyone successfully installed 16" rims with a +45 offset on a 2018?

Could I use spacers to reduce the offset to 40?

You shouldn’t have to use spacers for that specific wheel offset. I have 18x7 juke rs wheels with an offset of 47 and I don’t have any issues. Anybody know how to add an attachment? I can post a pic of what it looks like.
 
It would be great if you could go through the afford of uploading some pictures as I am looking now with a while for a nice good solution and yours seams great.
