Ad says head unit is not included. I am not sure what that is, maybe for controlling a network of chargers.

Will this work plugged into a 30A 240V supply?

Not returnable, it's a gov, surplus auction, I won't pay more than $75 for it

You should not trust your car to other people's junk, especially if you are not knowledgeable about the equipment.
