My son also owns a 2013 Leaf. He had 3g installed a couple of months ago. Recently, when he had his car in for unrelated service they disconnected and disposed of his 3g thinking it was 2g. They had not told him they were going to do this, otherwise he would have corrected them. Now he has been waiting 2 weeks, so far, for them to get another 3g to put back in the car.
