No there isn't

The us government has a map of plug in cooridores they would like VW to build along various highways but god only knows if and when those might appear and where

Back to Plug Share. It is crowd sourced . In my area, there are 8 DCFC being installed. The hardware is partially installed, and someone has added them to Plug Share and comments Under Construction.
The company told me that they would be operational this month.

ChargePoiant, the hardware vendor, doesn't show them yet.

If should add thato the grant to install the chargers was awarded last spring, and was reported in the press.

Along these lines I found a proposed map for the next phase of the British Columbia DCFC install. It is worth reading the entire document and to see the how the government is consulting the EV community. Apperently since this document they have decided on a total of 25 stations for the second phase.

Forums like this are one place to find news of upcoming stations. We're always interested. Plugshare can be, but just recently I've noticed they've filtered out all the under construction stations with the wrench icons. Even when a station is built, not enough people check in on PlugShare at most sites to know with confidence if it's operational. Just yesterday, I stopped at a Nissan dealer QC with a high Plugshare rating to find the handle unusable.
