Does my 12 SL have the quick charge port?

Odd that there is no label on either cover.

Yes: that is the large cover on the left. Not only can you Quick Charge, but you have the 6.6kw charger, instead of the basic 3.3. They both work, but you will get a faster charge time when using a Level 2 charger.

Note even with the QC port a '11 and '12 only has the 3.6kw charger
Your statement is correct in regards to post '12 models though

JJeff, Thanks for the correction. My Leaf is the 2014 model, and I was not aware that he early ones only had the 3.3.

If this is indeed a 2012 model, it's not an SV. For MY 2012 the QC port only came with the SL. Other added features of that year's SL over SV are a backup camera, fog lamps, auto on/off headlamps, and a solar panel on top of the hatch spoiler. These features are the only way to distinguish the SV and SL prior to 2013; leather was not available from the factory prior to the 2013 SL.

If you have a floor mounted parking brake instead of an electric switch on the console, you have a 2013 or later car.

Correct. '11 and '12 Leaf only have 3.3 kW OBC. Trim level or CHAdeMO port or not makes no difference.

The pic of the charging port area indicates it's not a '13+, as the 13+ added a light near the top. Search http://sfbayleafs.org/commentary/2013/09/2013-vs-2011-nissan-leaf-whats-new-whats-gone-whats-changed/ for small light.

Corrected the title to SL. It does have a backup camera, fog lamps, auto on/off headlamps, and a solar panel.
