If the reading on the dash tells me I'm getting 3.8 miles per kWh (a lot of freeway driving), approximately what is my miles/kWh for the power from the wall. I have a ClipperCreek L2 Charger.

I seem to recall the folks obsessive enough to measure the charging efficiency reporting something like 75% for L1 and 85-ish percent efficiency via L2. So just multiply by the appropriate one of those factors.

Unfortunately, https://avt.inl.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/fsev/SteadyStateLoadCharacterization2015Leaf.pdf is at 208 volts (common for commercial power), not the 240 volts you'd find at home.

I second Levenkay's numbers. They seem to match what I have experienced.

So if you are charging on L1, you are getting about 3.8 * .75 = 2.85 miles/kWh. If you are charging on L2, you are getting about 3.8*.85 = 3.23 miles/kWh. That's good enough for a back of the napkin calculation. If you want any more precise, you'll have to measure it directly.
