I just did a early lease termination. I had 9 more payments remaining on my leaf lease and decided to terminate it early since I haven't driven the car in months and no longer needed a second car. I called for a early termination payoff and found out it was cheaper than making the 9 payments and the disposal fee. I set up the inspection that found no extra charges on the car and I am way below the mileage (14,000 miles) for my 3 year 12,000 mile a year lease. Its been a great car but I am getting ready to retire and just don't need the extra payment.
