I sent form 8936 to the IRS along with my 2014 income tax forms in mid February and have seen nothing in return as yet. Any experience on this forum that hints at how long the process usually takes?

Hmm. that does seem like a long time...I use Turbotax to file electronically and it only took 2 or 3 weeks when I filed for my own tax credits...
Seems like a couple of different things might have happened....Either they didn't get it, or it's on hold for the EV tax credit like others have experienced....I would suggest you contact the IRS and ask them about the status...
