Does anyone have a diagram or drawing showing where the Lithium Ion battery packs are located from a top down and side view of the LEAF. I'm wanting to experiment with some thermostatically controlled adhesive heating pads placed on the sheet metal below the battery packs. My goal is to reach destinations I can easily reach in a Minnesota summer with 5 bars of battery temperature, but in the dead of winter by artificially warming the battery packs to 5 bars.

There is at least one thread detailing how to install heating pads on the leaf battery.

I saw it somewhere in these last night...

Did you install the BriskHeat heater pads designed for plastic or metal, (the less powerful version, or the more powerful version)? I'd favor the less powerful just so there is less chance of damaging the battery pack but maybe they are not powerful enough to do the job. I'm wanting to get my battery up to 5 or 6 bars of temperature while parked in a garage at 0°F overnight.
