Just wondering... Most electrical circuits I have seen incorporate a ground somewhere...Where is the ground in my leafs battery if there is one?

Ground is different than negative - the traction battery is isolated from the frame of the vehicle. The negative lead of the 12 volt battery is bonded to the vehicle frame, so you could consider that the 12v ground... Not sure how else to explain it...

The "most negative" cell terminal of the battery is the ground.

thanks, you answered my question. If the battery is isolated from the chassis, it is not grounded. It appears only the 12 volt system is rounded, as in most cars on the negative terminal of the battery.
