Hello everyone,
How do you find out when a particular Leaf was manufactured ? I am trying to determine how long
was my Leaf sitting in the Dealer's Lot. It was hot over the summer here in Colorado. It was anywhere from 85 to 100 during July/Aug.

The dealer told me the car was on their lot for about 30 or 45 days.

My goal is to find out what possible effect it would have on my Car's Battery Capacity long term.

Thanks,

I'll have to check but I think the manufacture date is on the sticker or plate on the driver's side door pillar.

edit: Yep, just open the driver's door and you should see the black sticker down near the bottom of the pillar with the manufacture date and various other info.

You do not know when the cells for the modules in the battery pack were made.
That might turn out to be much more important than the car's manufacture date.

How long the car was sitting, at what temperature, and at what charge level...
might turn out to be even more critical.

Right now, only reading out the GIDs after a 80% or 100% charge will
tend to shed a little light on the subject.

If the dealer cannot do that, there is little way to judge the car's capacity.
