I let my 14 y.o. daughter move the car in the driveway using only the brake pedal today.
It was her first time operating a car. And it is an electric car!
We are living in that exciting time when the transition is happening.
Her kids will probably never drive an ICE.
We've let the grandkids (ages 4, 5 and 8) plug and unplug the J-1772. We'd never consider letting them handle a gas pump nozzle. And with a little luck, they won't ever have to.

Quick update. Finally lost that first bar this week at about 36600 mi. Of course this has no real effect since that is only 1% less than last week. SOH is 84.78%.

I lost the first bar today at 33,281. I was curious though why almost the whole year that I owned my 15 Leaf S, the battery stats did not change much and then came winter and numbers just dived. Hope it does not deep dive from here.

Although I lost the first bar, I am still getting 96 miles of range with ECO at full charge and it used to show about 105 when I bought the car in Dec 17. I have been averaging 5.4 miles per kWh over the last year.

I would not worry, mine did that last year, but mostly recovered in the summer. However, long ago I lived in Vero, and am amazed that your winter made much difference. And getting 5+ m/kWh is amazing - I am getting 4.3.
