We have a couple of spots available at work for electric car charging. The panel has two 110v receptacles and two 220v receptacles.

What kind of a mobile connector could I use to plug my Leaf into this type of receptacle?

There is usually a Tesla plugged into the one that looks like this:

Tesla uses a "mobile connector". Is there such a thing available for the Leaf?

There are no portable 220v EVSEs available for the LEAF yet without jury-rigging something illegal (from a purely NEC perspective).

BTW, welcome! :)

You can plug into any standard 110V outlet using the portable EVSE included with the car, but you'll only get 5 miles of range for every hour you charge at 110V.

This one is common for RVs. I would check a store like Harbor Freight or a camping/recreation store in the electrical/RV supplies.

You could then use the included 120v evse that comes with LEAF

Actually you would use both adapters to use the four prong NEMA 14-50 connector

Otherwise to use 240 volts you would need to buy an compatible evse and make an adapter to the 14-50R connector and would depend on the evse connector.
Best to just have work install an evse that was permanent mounted and hardwired.

I bought an RV/110v adapter at Lowes for something like $9.99. If you buy the same thing at an RV store, it'll be $20+.

The first one you referenced is a NEMA TT-30R. It's used by RVs, provides 120V, rated for 30A. With an easily available adapter (here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001G8Y57Y?&tag=shopwiki-us-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325) you can plug in the Level 1 (120V, 12A) portable EVSE that comes with the LEAF.

(The second one you reference is for 240V and at this point there's not a convenient solution for that one for the LEAF. Not yet ...)

( Edit: wow! I thought I was the first reply. look at all those intermediate responses. I did not get a warning and I thought I had updated the page before replying. Was there a forum response issue this morning?

Anyway: important thing to realize the TT-30 is 120V. It is often confused with the old dryer outlet NEMA 10-30R ... and that's a problem, because the dryer one is 240V. )
