Here's a few photos of the quick-and-dirty wall mount I put together for the L1 EVSE that came with the Leaf. I wanted a way to secure the EVSE so that it wasn't dangling by the 110volt plug. And I wanted to be able to take the charger with me if needed.

What I came up with was a mounting board that has a couple of locating pins that fit the holes in the L1 EVSE. The pins are just 16-penny nails that have had the heads ground off. Though not shown in the photos, I use a velcro strap around the board to secure the EVSE on the locating pins. This arrangement has worked out really well. It's very sturdy and lets me grab the EVSE to take-with when needed.

I also installed a dedicated 110volt breaker w/a metal-clad cable run to a duplex outlet. When the EVSE was on a shared circuit, occasionally I would pop the circuit breaker. Not any more.

The OEM L1 EVSE will continue to be my primary means of charging the Leaf until I can get the scratch together to get one of those awesome OpenEVSE units (can't wait!).
