Here's a company who seems to have slipped under the radar:
http://www.controlmod.com/evse/index.asp?menu=evse

It appears they even have ceiling-mounted EVSE!

After you dig to find the EVSE info there are some generic specs and blurry distant photos, if they actually have a product they may want to hire a proper marketing person. Not a single legible product photo or any relevant info.

Any decent company that actually had product to offer at this point should have been able to find this site and begin at a minimum spamming the threads, and if they were really smart they'd pay to get their ad to replace the Boardwalk Nissan ad. Given that we have seen neither, I don't believe there are any companies that have any product to offer today.

It looks as if they have photographed their EVSE with a cord running to normal ice vehicles. Did Dodge make an EV intrepid? Did Bluebird make an EV Schoolbus? How about the Toyota Corolla EV?

If you have been following and building EVs for the past 10 years you will know one thing for sure, there is always a new battery tech that is "almost" ready and there are many companies that come out of nowhere or existing companies that think they will make a quick fortune selling things like this and they have no clue what the EV market is really like or even how to market their products. Some do this better than others but still miss the big picture and are chasing their tails for the big "green" bucks or think they are going to save the world. The problem is they are usually scammers or poor to very poor business people. A perfect example is Myers Motors or perhaps Zap who is great at 10 years of endless press releases and selling cheap piles of Chinese junk.

The EVSE market will be like that of the extension cord if many EVs are sold. Those grabbing the Govt money will spend it and make a few bucks if they are smart and then fade away. Starting a company just to make and sell EVSE products is like entering in the high-end extension cord market. Good luck.
