Hello,

I received an offered in LA area for a 2016 Nissan SL + Premium Package with 24 months lease 15k miles a year. Monthly payment is $350 (tax included), $2700 down (including license and registration fee) drive off. Is this a good deal? I am going to sign the paper today but wondering if this is really a good deal. PLEASE HELP.

I don't think it's a great deal for a 2016. If it were zero or little down and $350 a month, maybe. Or $2700 down and something like $275 a month. The state rebate (if you get it) would cancel most of the downpayment, I guess, but it's still money you have to pay.

Here is an advert for Leaf SV for $150 a month and $3K down.

I suspect you can even talk them down further than that.

WOW. I'd get one now if they can ship it down to Irvine Ca for $680?

LOL!! I just read this. Funny BECAUSE I live in Irvine and contacted the Internet Sales Manager of Dublin Nissan 5 days ago before reading this thread!!!

Answers: you can do the transaction signing by fed ex. But you have to find your own way of t($389 is the best pricing from a reputable company I got so far)

We had to have the SL even though we know of the values and popularity of leasing the standard S and he didn't have available or we would have done the hassle to work with him. Best prices in Ca. for sure!

hope that helps

Do you think the release of the Bolt is going to effect Leaf lease pricing?

Probably, but it will depend on how good GM's lease offers are on the Bolt. People who can't get the full federal tax credit when buying a car will usually lease one instead. If a 40kwh Leaf is $300 a month and a Bolt LT is $400, then a lot of people will still lease a Leaf instead.
