This is my first time posting, so bear with me. I have been lurking for a while, but need some guidance from you professionals! :D

I have the opportunity to buy a used 2012 Leaf SL with approx. 29k miles for about $7500, ($9100 out the door with tax title and dealer fee). It looks like it has 9 bars left and it is located in Orlando Fl. The vehicle originated in South Florida as far as Carfax says.

I am living in Central Florida near Daytona Beach. I am going to look at the car tomorrow, I don't have access to LeafSpy as of yet. I know I should get it, but don't want to miss out on a decent opportunity tomorrow if I can help it.

I am a stay at home mother. I literally will need the vehicle for around town. The maximum amount of miles I would ever go would be 15 miles out if I needed to go to a hospital. This will pretty much be a grocery and kid hauler for me. We have another dependable ICE vehicle that my husband drives.

That being said, would you do this deal? (minus the LeafSpy) Do you think it will drop another bar within the warranty period?

I am going to call up Nissan in the morning and ask if the warranty is good on the VIN number. The car was first purchased July 2012.

(I tried to post a picture, hopefully you will be able to see)

Thanks Guys! After calling Nissan and confirming that the car still has a warranty and previous owners did not opt out, I went ahead and bought it yesterday! Very excited! Took a while to get home from Orlando, forgot to switch to ECO mode. Needless to say, I had to stop a few times to charge. Overall, it was a great experience. When we finally made it to Daytona, Daytona Nissan gave us a complimentary EZ Charge card, but when I went to try to activate it, it has a problem with the VIN number not matching  .........I guess that's for another post though. :D

Thanks again! Much appreciated! Now, looking at getting a Level 2 charger for home.

That's funny. I'd been looking at that one (Orange Buick?) and another one online. Thinking did it makes sense to buy a second Leaf so that I could essentially "park" my ICE so it will last forever.

Yes, we got it from Orange Buick. :) I was actually quite surprised how much time the sales guy took to learn about the Leaf prior to our arrival. It was one of the least stressful and quickest car buying experiences we ever had and they gave us a free lunch to boot at their on site cafe. We were still able to haggle the price down that was previously stated. The likelihood of losing one more bar is quite good, so I feel the deal wasn't too bad. :D

We traveled to Longwood Nissan to use their quick charge, they were fantastic and accommodating. Stopped at Deland Nissan, no problems, and eventually made it to Daytona Nissan, where the Nissan Leaf specialist came out and talked EV with us while we charged up. Everyone was surprisingly very nice, considering we didn't buy from their dealership, let alone a Nissan dealership. :D
