battery warranty for a used leaf

The 100,000 mile battery warranty is for defects/cell failure (quite rare). It doesn't cover "gradual capacity loss", for which there is a separate warranty for 5 years/60,000 miles to retain at least 9 capacity bars. Also, the annual battery checks must be done in order to satisfy the warranty. I believe that a used Leaf will still be eligible for the battery warranty if the annual battery checks have been done.
