I read a FB post today (and I'm hoping they were trolling) claiming that the 2018 LEAF's battery warranty was ONLY 3 YEARS for degradation, not the full 8 years/100,000 miles (for defects, etc.).
Has anyone actually READ this fine print, or is there a place to find the actual warranty online?
Also, would this apply to 2016+, as that's when the US warranty was changed from 5 years/60,000 mi. to the current 8yr/100k mark?
NOTE: It was common knowledge with lots of actual customer anecdotes that the older (<2015) degradation warranty ran the full 5/60. As soon as an owner hit 4 bars down in their EVs, the traction battery was generally replaced, as opposed to "repaired."
