Engine Bay

Are there any pictures of the engine bay? I'd love to see what it looks like. I assume this isn't 'secret' anymore, because if the Leaf is on tour I imagine people could look under the hood?

I'm also curious about the undercarriage... is it perfectly smooth so that the Leaf is more streamlined? It could be a lot smoother since there doesn't need to be access to change motor oil and there is no hot exhaust!

By the way, I think this 'Ask Nissan' section of the Leaf Forum is a great idea!

We actually are not showing under the hood yet on the tour - no photos have been released.

The floor is smooth and flat to reduce wind resistance.

Additional fun fact: Nissan also developed uniquely styled headlights which split and redirect airflow away from door mirrors to reduce wind noise and resistance and be more aerodynamic.

I'll try getting some pictures up here soon too...

Nuts! I wanted to see the engine bay of the Nissan Leaf too!
