didn't see a thread dedicated to this yet. It is obviously targeting the leaf.........wonder who will get to market first with 200 mile all ev , tesla, chevy or nissan ??

Glad and amazed that GM is actually doing a BEV, and intending to sell it nationwide. Hopefully this will give some incentive for Nissan and Tesla to get moving a little faster, less expensive and better.

That said, I'm disappointed the $30k price tag mentioned is AFTER the $7500 rebate, so its really a $37.5k car. Also disappointed they didn't learn from the Volt and make a somewhat bigger car that can seat 5. It looks very much like a BMW i3 inside and out, even down to the color. I wonder how the size compares.

I'd still prefer a 200 mile LEAF for the bigger interior space.

It actually looks like it's rather large. I'm betting the production version will have 5 seats.
