GM appears to be getting more active

In addition to Volt 2.0, Cadillac's flagship model (CT6) will be a PHEV and further confirmation a 200 mile range EV is in the works.

On the CT6, it's interesting to note the EV-only top speed of 75mph, suggesting a simplification of the Volt design.

EV2? Maybe EV200? Bring it on. Ought to be interesting come 2017.

It's also interesting this information is coming up in investor conference calls. The investor community is keenly aware of Tesla, much more than the general public.

I didn't listen to the call, but you can picture someone asking what is their plan to not be the next Nokia. "What's Nokia?" would be the wrong response.

It'll be a real shame if the first 200-mile EV I can afford is a sub-compact with a CCS port.
