Nice summary list.

I have to wonder if this is accurate:

"Mitsubishi’s tiny four-seat “i” city car is the E.P.A.’s new fuel-economy champ, rated at the gasoline equivalent of 126 m.p.g.e. on the highway and 99 in town."

Why would an EV get better fuel economy on the highway?

Also, they said there is a plugin version of the Prius-V coming this fall.. Why have I not heard of this?

Mitsubishi's website says 112 MPGe...

http://i.mitsubishicars.com/miev/technology" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Of course, that compares to the LEAF's 99 MPGe rating...

Mine does! I can only figure that it's because I drive poorly in the city.

I think they are talking about PiP

That 19,874 figure for 2011 has to be wrong...Nissan alone sold 20,000 by the second weekend in January 2012. Now I suppose the could have sold a pantload that first week of the year, but then what about all the 2011 Volts?

I also notice they've focused on the Infiniti sports car concept, while completely ignoring the production sedan slated for 2013 as a 2014 model.

The whole article smacks of lazy journalism to me.

Their figure is US only, and identified as such. The US accounted for only 10000 or so Leafs last year.
