A rabbit damaged the electrical wire to the subject and I need to remove the actuator solenoid to repair the wire. I have the maintenance manual and there is not enough detail on removal of the actuator to help me. It appears the front bumper fascia has to be removed to gain enough access to remove the shroud that covers the solenoid. Fascia removal appears to be a big job. I can get to the shroud and have removed two sheet metal screws and a 10mm bolt that appeared to hold the shroud and solenoid to a mounting plate but the shroud will not budge. Does anyone have any ideas?
