I recently had a JBL MS-8 and a pair of Infinity Kappas in my 2013 Leaf SV.
Everything was working great, until I tried using the in-car navigation. The in-car navigation voice is muffled and unintelligible. Turns out, I have the same issue with the voice commands, and when using bluetooth for phone calls (I can't hardly hear the person on the other line).
iPhone music works great over Bluetooth or USB. Radio, XM radio, all work just fine, but in-car nav voice, control voice and phone calls are all useless. What got screwed up?
