Anyone rocking 15" wheels for a winter setup on a 2018-2020 SV/SL? We use 15" wheels on my wife's 2013 and they work fine. I have some 15" Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 tires from another vehicle that I would love to save and transfer over to some new 15" wheels. However, I cannot seem to get confirmation that 15" wheels would work with the newer car.

I figure I could try to have them installed, but there is a 11 day wait right now. Has anyone already done this?

Thanks!

The Gen II Leaf uses much if not most of the same hardware as the Gen I.5 (2013+), including the wheels and hubs - or at least the hubs are compatible. I see no reason why smaller wheels wouldn't work. The TPMS sensors are different.

These might work, but not 100% certain:

The 2013 and newer LEAFs have larger brake calipers, which is the main consideration. Those wheels have a hub bore of 73.1 mm, which is pretty generous, so they should be close to fitting. However, the offset is 38 mm, whereas the stock 16" wheels are 40 mm offset. If they work, it will be a tight fit with very little clearance between the inside of the bore hole and the calipers.
