    17inch Michelins 2016 - comments anyone ?

These tires are much better than the Ecopia. Inflate to 44psi and enjoy the ride. They should last more than 50K. No troubles on bad roads here. If you want a better pothole friendly tire you may switch to 205/60 R16 but you would need new wheels... Expensive switch.

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

My 2011 Leaf build in june 2011 lost it's first bar in september 2014. The car spent a least one summer near San Fransico, CA but the battery almost never reached 30C after that. The car never stayed at 100% charge for long and was kept in cool and shaded places. The time is the main...

    2015: Battery Data Report @ 100% Charge

I was down to 58AH with my 8 month old 2015 Leaf (built in february 2015). A week after a week-end drive of 400KM with 2 ChaDemo charge needed and using the pack down to 7%, I am back to much better numbers. Measurement after some pre-heating and not fully charged: 288GID 61,72AH SOH 99% Hx...

    2015: Battery Data Report @ 100% Charge

I have almost the same number of GID (277) with 59AH. I would not worry yet. The AH seems to move a lot. Check this graph from another 2015 car. Also most of the 2013 cars seems to age better than the early 2011 and 2012...

Can I afford a Leaf in Quebec, Canada

The Leaf has instant torque and a lot of torque. It is much better than a regular ICE car, even with a large V6. You really need to do a test drive. Instant torque and how quiet the ride is, are two important plus of driving an EV. You will never miss power with an electric car, even when it is...

Headlight wiring diagram - specifically for the led ballast

Were you able to advance this project? The extra connectors may be for the leveling motor for the low light.

Can anyone confirm if LED headlights fit directly on S line?

Any news on the installation. What is the cost of the OEM DEL? Is it compatible with DRL?

    The Battery Replacement Thread

There is still the option of buying a used battery from a totaled/VGA 2014 or 2015. The price of a new battery may also drop in the next years. Third option is to sell the car to someone who don't need the full range and buy a a used or new Leaf next year. Replacing the battery on a 2011 does...

Bad cells reported by CVLI test with LeafSpy pro

Thank you for your feedback. I dont charge the pack daily to 100% in summer in order to limit pack aging. Usually I still do it twice a month. Now that cold days are back I will switch to 100% charging daily as soon as we will be below 32F during the nights. I will redo the test then.

Bad cells reported by CVLI test with LeafSpy pro

Hello, Here is the evolution during my commute: After 80% charge and before driving: After 6 miles of very slow driving: After 22 miles: The "weak" cells are visible very fast.

Had the P3227 reprogram done today: interesting results.

@RegGuheert It is interesting how similar our batteries are... Same usage pattern and same degradation. Capacity evolution, the spike in capacity is the P3227 update:
