I was searching for a mention of the CarPlay static issue and found yours. I have a '23 Leaf which came with rev 0348 and I have always had an intermittent problem with that 😞. Vary rarely will CarPlay not auto-start for me - restarting my iPhone or the car will fix the problem.

Where have you seen 100kW CHAdeMO charging stations? I have yet to see anything more than 50kW.

LeftieBiker, Yes, that was exactly the case - the battery temp meter went partially into the Red Zone. Looks like the Leaf is not up for long trips (moving quickly) in the summer, so I guess the other car in the household gets used for that case!

I was not able to enter the diagnostic menu ('23 SV Plus). When you say "Power," do you mean the whole car power button, or the audio power button? Does the car need to be running or off? Any other details needed?

Well I tried again yesterday to update my maps and it's working again! Great but 🤔 I suspect it may have been due to Nissan resetting my Connect Services account, to try to fix other things. In any case, glad to be back in business.

I am consistently getting an error when trying to update the maps over WiFi: (with Yes/No buttons) I have tried on multiple WiFi connections, and get the same results. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes I had forgotten some models don't have WiFi - could of course only apply to those with it built-in (e.g. recent SV model years).

It really has little to do with the WiFi connection - if the connection from the car to Nissan is encrypted via TLS ("https" when you connect to e.g. your bank), then the channel is secure and there is no worry of any hacking. (Obviously, they have to do it right, just as any bank's website would 😉)

I really wish Nissan would not try to extract every last dime out of us by requiring that the cellular connection be used to communicate with the car with the EV&Services app - it would be a (relatively) minor change* to allow WiFi to be used if it's connected, which it is in my case if my car...

['23 SV Plus] Whenever I startup and drive away, with only myself in the car, the "three red seatbelt people" warning icon on the dash stays on for - at least a minute or 2? Something ridiculously long. Is there a way to shorten the time its on, or better yet, make it go away completely?
