Just a quick status on how this feature has gone for me the past few days. I enabled the Braking display on the Motor Power screen in 0.31.32 and although it works occasionally, it's a bit too unstable and prone to hanging to serve as my primary screen like before. Whereas 0.29.20 would often...

Great! Looking forward to using that feature again.

After going through this procedure first, then setting ELM trace on, and restarting, the ELM trace status was back. Thanks for the workaround.

I noticed that when I enabled the ELM trace debug, and restarted, there is no longer a blinking trace status at the bottom of Screen 4 like previous versions.

    Ah, thanks. That works.

I noticed that the number displayed to the left of the bar graph at the top of the Motor Power and Accelerator screen, is stuck at -29.9kW, and doesn't change when I'm accelerating, braking, or at rest. Also I noticed that from this screen, I can do a right-to-left swipe to get to the 4th...

Digging the new motor power/regen bars in the Energy use bar graph. Nice! And I appreciate the Change History and Application Help screens.

I'm glad that was a simple bug to fix. :) Regarding the experimental Motor Power and Accelerator screen... I mentioned previously that this had become my screen of choice, 95% of the time, when driving the Leaf. It was nice seeing the red/green bars (in v0.29.20) while braking - it was a...

I just tried it now...1 minute with heater on high plus high beams on. Climate control gauge showing between 3 and 4.5 Kw of use. No change in Aux/Htr/AC bars https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/574674/TRC_1403250516.txt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false...

Leaf Spy and Leaf Spy Pro

Strange....this morning with headlights on (but not on high) and heater set at 90 and fan at maximum, I saw no movement of the Aux/Htr/AC bars or values over a 3 minute period; app was cycling normally. At the same time, the Energy Info display on the center console showed the Climate Control...

Thanks for the fix. I always have the app running in the foreground on a dedicated Kyocera Event phone in the car. But I can see the usefulness in being able to log things while in sleep mode, via a powered ELM, and having the logs available via Dropbox/FolderSync. That's slick. Also, you may...

Thanks for the quick fix. That looks good. One other thing...I've been having connection issues the last 2 days, perhaps 4 or 5 times - the most recent happening this morning around 8:00am. After parking and turning off the car for a while, I return and start the car, and Leaf Spy Pro has...

Great job! Some initial observsarions from this morning's drive: - While in the Motor Power and Accelerator screen, when I brake, I no longer see the green bar (indicating regen) and red bar (indicating mechanical braking) - I like the digital kW value you added in the upper left corner of this...

Leaf Spy and Leaf Spy Pro

When I use Leaf Spy Pro, I think I spend most of my time watching the Motor amps and Accelerator screen that's in the v0.29.20 beta. Thanks so much for adding this view. I'd like to offer a suggestion that makes it easier on the eyes to correlate the peaks and valleys of the graph to their...

This looks very cool. I'm a little worried about how close the Reset button is to the new Wh/Regen Wh target area. It looks like I'll need to be extra careful with my fat finger pressing down on the small screen of my Kyocera Event screen. Otherwise, there's going to be some irreversible...

When Max/Avg/Min is selected under the Battery Temperature settings, I assume the temps to the left of the thermometer are max and min, and the upper right temp is the average. What is the circled temperature showing?

Ahh..thanks. You're right...my incorrect assumption was that it represented the energy flow into/out of the battery. The way it really works makes sense.

As I am coming to a complete stop, I notice the Watt-Hours used on screen 4, decrease, due to regen, like I would expect. But on some occasions, after I've completely stopped, the Watt-Hours number continues to decrease. Here's an example from this morning...
